Lovers of architecture will not want to miss the well-preserved churches in the local villages, including St. Francis of Assisi Church in Olszanowo, originally built around 1600, and the historical St. Martin’s Church in Gwieździn, built in the years 1688–1690. It is a good example of a typical village church, based on the traditional building technique with spandrels. The church is exceptionally pleasing to the eye, and features valuable eighteenth-century furnishings.
